Generation gap

i'm typing this using my $0 nokia e51 at a Mc outlet opp delfi. While i'm having brunch, i saw a family sitting beside me and i overheard a bit of their conversation. There seems to be something missing among the family, a common language. The children are speaking English. The grandparents are speaking hokkien. And the parents are speaking Chinese, and also the above 2 languages. Wouldn't it be nice if the grandparents can communicate with their grandchildren using a common language?

I don't know if anyone have the same thinking. I have a vision. To teach Chinese and English to elderly, voluntarily. I also hope that I can educate children and adults the value of Chinese.

perfectionist

i know being a perfectionist can be quite irritating to somebody out there. I like to post things that i think doesn't looks right on fb instantly, and i like to correct people's wrong usage of grammar, be it English, Chinese or Japanese. This is one thing that i simply cant tolerate. typo on a mainstream media -> http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_asiapacific/view/1094586/1/.html

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows

I watched HP7 part 1 yesterday! Although I already knew the story, but I'm quite amazed by how they put it into a movie. There's a "HOT" kissing scene that gets me wondering why it is rated PG. How are parents going to guide children to watch?

It was also the first time I watch movie with a female friend alone. We had a good chat and breakfast before the movie started at 12noon. Don't think too much ok? We are just friends.
