basically, had been a zhuo boing day... nothing special except the NKF charity show at 7.30pm.. an it lasted for 4 hours!! damm long program... so ended up.. the rest of the programs like new and a japanese drama are all delayed.... and of course, i very late then sleep...

at first, I thought today can relax a day at home, but suddenly chong hwee tell me to meet a client (on a freelance programming project) at 2pm, and need to wear formal!! alamak! so i quickly prepared and rushed out of home... i reached clementi some time earlier than 2pm, and we went to meet the client's compnay is located at the block where the town council is, we discuss for quite some time, and understtood their requirements, basically, it's a web site for their customers to search and enquiry maids.. we agreed to draft out the project before quoting the price and closing the deal (because we have competitors also, although their stuff is not up to standard, frankly speaking...) ... but frankly speaking, I am confident that we can clinch the deal at a good price successfully.. the details I wish to keep it as confidential...

today have been a very busy day... supposingly meeting my FYP group friends for lunch to celebrate my and shi cong's birthday, but in the end, I only reach there at 12.30pm.. hehehehehe... very pai seh.. we went to Marina Square Ponderosa restaurant for lunch...... then they gave me a wallet as present... I think it cost quite a bomb, really thanks to them for the present.. just in time for me to change a wallet...
they went SPGG after the lunch, and I rushed to Liang's house to meet my usual gang of friends, because is Liang's 20th Birthday!! 4 pple are playing mahjong and 2 pple playing PlayStation 2 when i reach there.. so i cannot play mahjong, too bad, but never mind, I still got computer and pianos (not lah.. i don't know how to play, i anyhow play 1...) to play with... found some songs that I want but forgot the song names.... we went Ivian's Perankan Restaurant for dinner, the food there super nice, but too spicy lah and also quantity quite little for each dish.. I think we ordered about 10 dishes, then we each paid around $10.. quite cheap, I think... then we went back to liang's house to eat cake... and heard Liang's father say a lot of things on starting and making business, for example, do not loan from banks at the initial stage, or else you will suffer in debts..

I and da wei went to capitol building Long John Silver for lunch, then he took a half day leave to attend a medical appointment regarding his old leg injury... so basically, I had been spending a boring afternoon at work place after lunch...
after work, we met at Lido to watch johnny english.. a super funny but super lame show, never expect "Mr. Bean" (Rowan Atkinson) can joke with his speech also.. a really must-see show!! if you need a good laugh to relieve ur stress...

today supervisor didn't come work again.. maybe bacause his daughter kept pestering him to accompany her.. why I know that?? because she called him I think about 10 times at work yesterday!! I had heard the words, "Hello, girl" for about 10 times I think... so today basically I had been (0.75 X(eating snake)).. because I still got do some work.. that's bebugging my partner's codes.. I think I could have the title of human debugger and all-purpose consultant there liao.. (because even my supervisor ask me how to setup IIS and some programming stuff)... we went to eat BK again at the Coucourse at Beach Road... then i discovered that there sell quite a lot of cheap party stuff, BBQ stuff games (those we play when we are small).....
after work, I went capitol building Long John Silver to try out their new Hot and Spicy 3 pcs Chicken combo (that cost $3.90).. the only special part is the tasty & spicy & crispy skin of the chicken.. the meat inside is still the same (very tender)...

xian ah... today my supervisor come for work.. and raise up more issues on the project... and obviously I'm the 1 who is going to solve it!! wah lau... more work to do.. and he implies that we have to complete our part in the project by end of next week.. I even more xian.. I think I have to bring work back home to do in the weekends..
as for lunch.. we went to Jalan Beseh Hawker Centre.. I heard from my supervisor that the yong tau fu there is good... but I didn't go try because not much dishes left in the stall liao.. the place there quite run-down, but surprisingly the toilet is well-renovated!! sheng qi!
after work, went to peninsula plaza to have BK meal.. (because got coupon mah! hehehehe...).. then quickly went home.. because it's going to rain.. heng that I only encounter little rain... when I reach the bus stop. it become heavy rain liao..... wondering why so much rain recently... now is rain season meh?

another day of "got a lot of things to do, but no mood to do, so zhuo bo" day... basically watching TV shows and trying to install Creative Wave Studio, so that I can convert mp3s to wav files... (one of these wav files is played on the main page)..... need to restart a lot of times, reinstall some other creative software affected by this installation...
7.30pm, watched the show th NKF show and saw a lot performance... the one that Jack Neo lay on pieces of glass... at 1st, Jack Neo walk across the glass... ok.. I think it's nothing very special.. (but I think is still quite difficult) but then Chao Qi Tai sort-of "forced" (I could see that it's a difficult thing to do and this is no joke, ) Jack Neo to do another time with the back on the glass.. Half-willingly, Jack Neo agreed and done it.. (people may think that this had been rehearsal.. but I can see that It's a sudden request).. ok... heng he's fine after that stunt... then Chao Qi Tai made a more difficult request.. he asked Xu Zhenrong to jump on his stomach (I think Chao Qi Tai must be crazy! and he thinks it's easy to do that ah?? Jack Neo is not a professional that can withstand a person's weight!!).... I really buay tahan Chao Qi Tai lor...... he sacrifice others because of the TV program's interest..

afternoon, I went sim lim square with my gang, mainly because xiang's computer is spoilt.. partly because some RICH guys want to buy accessories to upgrade their systems.. , as for me, I only buy something to cover up my PCI slots... (no money liao... have to pay so many bills, including my 'O' Level exam fees)... actually I intend to network my and my brother's computer (need to buy cable, NIC cards and maybe a hub), but I think next month ba..... the others bought speakers and LCD monitor! (haiz.. how I wish to have money to buy those also.., however, I won't buy because of a moment of madness...)
we went to a cofee shop opposite selegie complex for dinner (lunchner for me), there is famous for pig organ's soup and bak kut teh.... I hate to eat organs... so I choose bak ku teh.. it's was qute nice.. but a bit too salty liao.... then we went a few shop houses away to eat beancurd... we ate the hot beancurd 1st.. it was so smooth and instantly disolves in one's mouth (eh! those words v familiar leh.. didn't I hear that in dramas? but it is true lah...)... then some went to buy cold beancurd, I didn't eat.. but heard from them that it's more delicious than their hot counterparts...

after work, I went to meet my gang for dinner and movie... we watched Taxi 3... it's was a damm funny show, and everyone speak a fluent french in the show (yes, it is a french movie..) which makes the show packed and fast-moving.. and of course, it wouldn't be so funny if there isn't some dirty jokes... it's a definitely must-see show and I give a rating of 4 stars on scale of 5 stars...

we are assign to go to Bukit Merah Centre to get feedback oursleves in the morning...supervisor don't know gone to where again... so we took this oppuntunity to stay outside until after lunch time (2pm) ! we had yoshinoya to before 12noon to have lunch.. (in order to catcha promotion... hhehehhe... save money mah..) then we went borders to read some books and magazines.. nowadays orchard road very quiet liao...(because of SARS, I think, saw another ambulance by pass us again...)
xiang and liang went back SP to retake NAPFA test... liang got Gold but xiang failed just because of 2.4km run.. what a pity.. so liang should be going into NS in october, and xiang in june, and yah! did I tell you my enlistment date is 21st August 2003? I will be going to BMTC school 2 at tekong... actually I hope the enlistment date to be earlier... so that I no need to worry what to do after graduate..... it feels so stress to worry about this..
since they are at SP, I dated them for dinner at Stafff Centre Restaurant at SP (dun misunderstood, the price there is just normal food-court price).. after dinner, we had a good chat.. mostly, about our future life... they should be furthering studies at SMU and University of Queensland, as for me, I think I wil continue to study Computer engineering at NUS (if they accept me lah....), then at the same time, maybe start a virtual company to do free lance programming (so I will not impose so much burden on my family and can start and also start a foundation for my future company)...

today lunch finally ate something delicious... we went to the Nasi Padang stall a few streets from my workplace... basically everything there taste great! the ayam goreng and mutton especially... and the quantity is really a lot! but it also cost us a bomb... I paid $6.20 for mine!! but if you share dishes with a few people, that will definitely be cheaper...
after work, dinner at cine BK (the new Mushroom Swiss Chicken Deluxe burger!), go home watch Ah-Cheng, 9.30pm buay tahan I go sleep liao...(early hor?) ....ZZzzzZZZ...

today is basically a zhuo bo day... I got a lot of things to do.. but don't have the mood to do anything... so I switch on my computer (my source of entertainment!) and put on my headphones to listen my "to becontinued.." CD (by Sun Yanzi!!) that I had bought on wednesday..... (i'm not rich ok? this is just my second CD I had bought!).. the songs are really nice... (stay tuned for my review on this CD at my music reviews section..), then watched the companion VCD that comes with the CD.... then basically whole day watch show, download stuff and surf net... xian.. no mood to do anything... or maybe it's too tired to do any thing? I think I need a holiday...

It has been a tiring day today... morning went to pay respect to my Ah Gong at my Ah ma's house.. about 2.00pm then come back home..
then went to a club event at around 5.30pm at Marina Bay... that was a event called Annual Reception to mark the end of this year's management of the club... we went to Marina Bay to eat the BBQ Steamboat... the stall is called "Dragon Village"... the food there alright lah.. but their service is quite good... and they worn uniforms also... it's been quite a long time since I last meet my club friends, I'm glad to see them doing fine, and enjoyed talking to them!! especially to my brothers, Dy and Alvin Ong.. when I reach home, it's already pass 12 midnight... once again.. I collapsed to my bed....ZZZZzzzzZZZz...

after work, went to meet xiang and zhenrong for a movie, actually intially is all come out, but in the end, only left with 3 bachelors... don't ask me why.. it's just not my day..
we went to watch "the Core", it was quite an good show, with a blend of sci-fic (science fiction), trailer, touching scences.. the show is about that the Earth's core that drives the electro-magnetic field of Earth, has stopped turning. This leads to Super storms, with many powerful lightnings, birds losing their ability to navigate, and the Earth will eventually lose it's EM (Electro magnetic) field, that shields the Earth from strong UV rays of the Sun, and etc... destroying the Earth, and soon, life on Earth will not be able to survive if the core remains still. after movie, we went for dinner at KFC, and started talking about the current SARS situation, and they say Singapore government is not transparent enough, and singapore education system is not flexible, but what I think is that the education before is only for foundation purpose, how you will excel in the industry is all dependent on yourself... and of course there's no conclusion of this debate, everyone has their own views... and although I disagree with anyone, I will still respect their views...
after work, went to meet xiang and zhenrong for a movie, actually intially is all come out, but in the end, only left with 3 bachelors... don't ask me why.. it's just not my day..
we went to watch "the Core", it was quite an good show, with a blend of sci-fic (science fiction), trailer, touching scences.. the show is about that the Earth's core that drives the electro-magnetic field of Earth, has stopped turning. This leads to Super storms, with many powerful lightnings, birds losing their ability to navigate, and the Earth will eventually lose it's EM (Electro magnetic) field, that shields the Earth from strong UV rays of the Sun, and etc... destroying the Earth, and soon, life on Earth will not be able to survive if the core remains still. Yo! good day! firstly I like to say sorry that i didn't launch my web site today as promised.. SORRY! reasons being i'm too busy this week, everyday after work will have somethings on.., by the time reach home already very tired... ok.. you may see this as excuses lah.. but work is really boring and tired lah...
today after work, I went home early (sheng qi!!)... why? because it's my father's birthday!!! but this year looks like it's the most pathetic celebration (despite that it's his 60th bithday!!), because we just have a dinner at home... but bo bian, because of the SARS outbreak.. my parents suggested just to eat Pizza Hut at home lor!! sad case.... but ate quite full and satisfied lah... yummy!

Happy April's Fool Day .. this had been quite a quiet April Fool's Day for me, compared with the previous years, cause i only received a joke this year, that was a link to an article to a page that said, Microsoft's CEO, Bill Gates is murdered.. of course it's false news lah!!
ok.. don't talk about work today lah... I today after work, went to Kimage at Funan to cut hair, let's say about that...
today was my worst visit at Kimage.. previously, I'm very impress by the quality service and good management of Kimage.. but today totally disappointed.. I could say i give the stylist 5 marks out of scale of 100!! and not only the service is poor leh... the skills also quite bad... I will list 2 examples here..
do you see before people don't dry ur hair with towel first, then directly use hair dryer to dry? (in the end my ears remained wet until she cut finish)
do you see before people use hair dryer to blow away hair on your face? (normal people will use towel or brush)
the most important thing is that she no confident in cutting my hair!! I really scare she spoilt my hair man! heng is that she make my hair presentable in the end... or else i cannot face people liao.. I totally nothing to say about her lor..
after cut hair, went back home and saw the news that Zhang Guo Rong commited suicide... I was shocked when I heard the news! (this is not a april's fool's joke), it was really very pity and sad that the society has lose such a good celebrity who contributed significantly to the society, especially in charitable events... , although he commited suicide because of homosexual relationships, I still respect him and will like to salute to him, and send my deepest regards, Farewell Leslie!

another programming day..... but today got do something different, so not so boring, and finally can achieve something..
around 4.30pm, a miracle happened, Boon Kiat called me out for dinnner leh! sheng qi!! It was planned that we meet straight after my work, but I forgot 1 important thing I must do, I have to deposit my pay cheque, or else I no money to survive liao.... so I rushed to Funan to drop my cheque, and then rushed to orchard wheellock place to meeet boon kiat... the weather is damm hot, that makes me sweat a lot... HOT!! some more, i still coughing... then we had dinner at BK together, and I persuade him to go dinner and dance at the same time.. but failed... then Zhenrong came and successfully persuaded him to go... we went HMV and arcade after that, and go home at around 8pm..
reach home liao, after watching Jack Neo's variety show, "Mei Wei Qing Yuan" and news, I buay tahan liao, so go sleep... but told my mum to wake me up for the 1am "Ah-cheng" (my must-see show!!), the show is scheduled at 1am, but in the end started at 2am... (wah lau!! don't know how channel U schedule their programmes..), in the interval of waiting, heng heng still got Jacky Wu's "Shi Zhi Lu Ko", so i didn't fall asleep... the show is super funny with all the actions they do.. I think many will want to know why I so interested in "Ah Cheng", it's because this story illustrates how Ah Cheng started as a poor but hardworkig fellow to becoming a successful businessman, through seeing this shows, I could learn how he handles things, manpower and relationships well... maybe you should go and watch an episode, so you can understand what I say... "Ah Cheng" is showing on channel U on weekdays at 7pm, and re-telecast at 1am MUST SEE!!!
