I cried again today (I don't know why, maybe because sad, maybe because angry).. today planning to go out, but again (yes, again)cancelled due to poor attendance, I don't know is it because I'm a bad organizer, or my friends' attitute, nobody is at fault and I don't wish to comment... you may think this is ridiculous, a man of 20 years old, stil crying? but at least I'm better than those who hide their feelings to deceive themselves... whenever I cry, I will isolate myself or immerse myself in music, and at same time reflect myself, life, and think a lot of things.. I went out of home for fresh air and took a long bus trip to west mall, look look see see here and there, maybe that will let me think better... don't worry, I'm back to myself when I'm writing this blog

slept until 10am and then watched "Wan Quan Yu Le" (show biz) on channel U (a taiwan entertainment news show)... it's a must-see show for me on weekdays.. 10am is the retelecast of friday's epidsode, 2.30pm is a new epidsode... felt sleepy after watching Wan Quan Yu Le, went to sleep again.. hehehheehe.. then woke up at 2.30pm, for 2nd round of Wan Quan Yu Le.. after that went for a shower and went downstairs to buy some groceries and lunch... then saw Jiu Cheng Gao showing on channel 8, and started watching.. quite an interesting show.. carry on to watch news and 7pm drama on channel 8.. at the same time, playing warcraft with friends on the net... after the game, had dinner and then watched another drama on channel 8.. hehhehe... then surf net until Ah Cheng on channel U comes.. watched ah cheng... and then back to my computer.. downloaded some MVs of xiao xiao and pictures of SHE... and then wrote blogs.. non-stop activities right?? hahaha.. that's how I spend days..

12+ in the afternoon then wake up.. missed a part of the police drama on TV.. what a pity.. maybe it's because yesterday (or should I say this morning).... the whole thing is like this.. on 24th may 2.15am. i went for my bed... then I was shortly waken by my mother... guess what? my brother rent a car and my mother suggested to go out for supper in the middle of the night!! sheng qi right? that's explains why I stay up late and yet nobody in my family complain.. because everyone in my family sleep late! (except my dad).. so after much discussion, we finally set off for clementi kopitiam (the coffee shop is named as kopitiam) at 3.00am... damm sleepy at that time.. we ate toast bread, sandwich and coffee.. and then went back home.. it was nearly 4.30am when I get to sleep... by the way, look at the time I'm writing this blog! it's 5+am!
so in the day.. I wrote some blogs, watch show and watched a VCD I had bought some time ago.. chinese name is "Wu Xian Fu Huo", english name is "Second TIme Around", starring Zhen Yi Jian (Ekin) and Zhang Bo Zhi, that's quite a romantic story, but plot is a bit typical.... in the night, changed some layout in my links page.. and watched some Japanese drama on channel 8 and channel U..

time flies.. I am now 20 years and 1 month old today.. really old liao.. graduate from poly.. what's the next step? need to plan for my future... (although I still have NS to serve)...
went to Liang's house to play mahjong today... and got to learn how 3 person mahjong is played (when 1 khaki have not come yet).. although lost a lot of money ($9!), but I enjoyed the process of playing... we went to turf city to find boon boon who is working as waiter, and had dinner there, the food is quite good, but the size is not big (maybe for me only lah..) but still ok lah.., and it's quite cheap.. ($8.80++ for a set meal, includes soup of the day, main dish, drink and dessert), good place to eat..

meet my ex-FYP group 4.30pm today to go out.. , as usually, ther's no full attendance.. and again don't know what to do.. then finally decided to go play pool. we played for about 1 hour, then played archade for some time.. then went Edo Sushi for dinner.. the service there is bad, maybe bacause there's only 2 waiter, I had a yakiniku ramen ($6.80) and a plate of sushi ($1.90) (because the sushi there is not cheap), plus service charge and GST, is about $10 (quite cheap for a japanese meal, if you don't order too much sushi)... we went to jihao's house for mahjong session. yeah.. didn't play money 1 lah.. but quite fun also.. then jihao drove us to clementi, and I took the last bus (I think) home.. *yawn.. the headache is finally gone.. but still got ulcers..

had appointment to meet the client for the freelance project in the afternoon, so went to shuang's house with CH to prepare some stuff, but the laptop gives us problem, in the end we had to explain to the client thought paper.. we met the client, but she's like hesistate to clinch our deal, sad case.. she says will get back to us again, she had to discuss with her partner.. we went nearby to eat rice balls (tan yuan!), very delicious... then we split ways and I go jurong point alone to look for my cap.. but didn't bought any... hahaha.. maybe because I to choosy.. I looking a plain 1, that don't cost > $10... any sale, please tell me.. bearing my headache, I took an hour bus from boon lay back home.. *yawn* tired... again, did not write blogs..

finally meeting my gang today to watch matrix reloaded... we meet at around noon, they say want to eat international buffet at taka, it's so expensive! $30! however, the food there is not bad... but not as good as I expect for this kind of price, there's seafood like fish, scallops and oysters.. and other food like tepanyaki, sushi yaki and birdnest soup.. this is really the mosr expensive thing, I had spend on for, Ithink, 2 months! we ate from 12 noon to 3pm..
then went to cineleisure, play archade first, before watching the 4.15pm show... the show is generally great, with the actions, but the story need quite a time to digest. (it's just too complicated!)..
we went to sim lim square, to look look see see some stuff, and i bought some 870MB CD-Rs and 2 CD-RWs.. quite cheap.. considering the fact that the CD-Rs can store 870MB (instead of 750MB).. we went for dinner at bugis village buger king, and talk cock on what business to do in the future.. hahahha.. then went home... also very tired, and also got a headache and some ulcers.. so didn'r wrote any blogs... :p

planning to watch matrix reloaded with my gang initially today, but because some not free, so postponed to tomorrow :( , so I met my ex-FYP group at lee shuang's house to discuss and draft out our free lance project (which had been delayed for weeks)... we say is discuss lah... but there's only 1 computer available, so some of us ended up playing UNO.. hahhahaha LOL.. after that, we 3 guys (me, chong hwee and shi cong) went to causeway point to look look see see, I am looking for a cap (any where got sale, pls tell me.. hehe..), CH looking for a kogepan (cartoon character) badge, and Cong looking for a gift for her god sister... then coincidently saw yanxi again, and this time with jack, her bf... hahha.. so coincidence.. we had dinner after that and went home... quite tired when I reach home, maybe because I took a long bus ride from woodlands back home.. that's why didn't write any blogs.. pai seh..

Zhuo bo whole day at home, and trying to figure out what is digital sound output and SPDIF connector, I surf the net, but cannot find 1 explanation that explains wat I need to know... I know know how digital sound works and what are digital speakers, but still not sure about the different connectors for digital sound (I saw SPDIF, coaxial RCA, coaxial RCA minijack, optical etc...), is there anyone out there who can explain to me? and anyone got 2.1 digital speakers to recommend?

initially planned to go to visit my uncle in the evening, in the end visited him in the night... why visit him? because he is going to hospital for operation on monday.. because his nerves are affected by his arteries expansion... he looks quite weak to me, but still able to talk well.. hope everything is fine...

Today went out with my usual gang and pla LAN at parklane.... played CS and Warcraft 3... quite happy actually.. at least I no need to be bored at home... (but also disappointed bacause cannot watch Mattrix Reloaded due to some reasons..)... and do you know there's a Han's Restaurant at ParkMall? we went there for dinner.. and ended as the 2nd last batch of customers in the restaurant...

today at first not going out.. then xiang ask if want to come out.. so we met at PS (plaza singapura) at 2pm.. we had lunch at yoshinoya and then went to parklane to play LAN again.. we played for about 4 hours.. and walked to bugis junction for dinner.. (shun bian go see see boon kiat at work..), we ate at Ajisan , I could say the ramen is the best I had so far eaten before.. (but it burn my another pocket)... overall quite good...

(without worrying about work!), but cannot sleep too much.., because got to go to bank with my father at noon... to open a fixed deposit account, that's meant for my further studies... after that, went to tiong bahru plaza to meet Boon Kiat for lunch... (lunch only), and I bought a 3 chinese movie vcds (at only $5! cheap leh! but that was the last day of offer liao...)... a boring day basically...

today is Mother's day, also my mother's 55th birthday... (crashing of these dates occurs every few years.., so we no need to celebrate twice.. hehe..) ...we original want to go Yum Cha Restaurant ( at Chinatown) t ohave lunch..but there is full house.. so we went to the nearby hawker centre at Niu Che Sui Da Xia (Chinatown Complex), we ate a lot of dim sum there..... some deserts and a dish named "Zhu Jiao Dong", where pork legs are put in pork oil to solidify in the fridge.. looks like jelly... but it's too oily, and not tasty.. but my father likes it.. don't know why also...
then my mother pulled my sis and me to the nearby Chinatown Heritage Centre (Yuan Mao Guan), located at Pagoda Street.. It's a place where 3 shophouses are being restored to look like shop houses of the past... We took a look on the ground floor, outside the entrance.. there's also a restored coffee shop where drinks like milo and horlick are served, most of the furniture are restored from the original old furniture.. quite a good place to visit...
I went to West Mall alone after that, planning to shop for a pair of earphones to spoilt myself for the month... i went to Harvey Norman and bought a pair of Panasonic Clip-on earphones, for $22... although the quality is not as good as those $80+, it's already good enough for my music enjoyment..

Went to school early in the morning to meet LO to settle the last Internship matters.. 9am leh! so early... I want to sleep longer also cannot... and some more , my LO is late ... late never mind, he don't infiorm us that he will be late... this Farooq always break promises... and my partner agreed also... it's a short briefing, about 20 minutes... and that's all... I could say to be "graduated" from SP (if I pass my Internship lah..).... saw a lot of classmates, friends and acquaintances... and quite happy to chat with them and glad that they are fine...
I meet up with my usual gang of friends around noon, and again, don't know what to do... so we went orchard cineleisure to have lunch.. then decided to go all-the-way to parklane for LAN games again... I'm going to collapse.... being working all day and night for 2 weeks... and we played there for 5 hours.... then we went to Newton Circle Food Centre for dinner, the sting ray and squid there is quite good... and the price is also quite "attractive' (a plate of squid for $20!!), however the quantity is a lot... all of us eat until very full...

Today's is the last day of Internship, but I still have a lot of work to do, and because I had headache, it's a hard day for me.. The staff at SCS booked me and Da Wei (my partner) for lunch at V8 Movies Cafe at Bugis Junction... It was the 1st time I saw so many staff have lunch together... we had quite a enjoyable lunch, and some collegues asked us what we going to do after leaving... and we started chatting... however, we have to cramped together to have lunch (too many people liao lah!), waited very long for my food, and the quantity is quite small, I ordered spagettie with mushroom in cream sauce... it's a bad place for lunch, as for the pricing.. I don't know, because the they are treating 2 of us.... I continued working after lunch.. and only managed to finish 5pm, and left workplace around 6pm... and of course, we took some photos before we leave...
After work, I went Plaza Singapura to meet my gang.. we had dinner at mos burger and went to play War craft III cum CS at parklane for 2 hours... what to do? nothing to do mah... and no movies to watch... and actually I'm not keen in playing LAN games.. after that, again we talk about what to do tomorrow, and again, didn't come to a conclusion... -_-"

Supervisor went back in the afternoon, and so I took a rest, because I only slept a little for these 2 weeks... our LO (Farooq) came at around 4pm to visit us, And this is only the third and last visit during the whole Internship!! Then we went to a nearby Roti Prata shop (Singapore Zam Zam Restaurant) to have dinner, I ordered a mutton murtabak, I think, the food there is quite good... And of course is our LO pay for it!! (because he use our $5 given by SP every semester to treat us mah! You thnk he use his own money meh?) talking about treating, As far as I recalled, my supervisor only treated us drinks on the 1st day of attachment!! and that's all! very niao right?

Time really flies, and now is the last week of my attachment, actually quite happy, but also she bu de some staff there, who treated us well (except my supervisor!)...
today went to meet xiang and sebas to watch Anger Management at West Mall, as the rest of my gang had watched before... that was a great romantic comedy, and full of lots of surprises, eg. actions you never expect will happen the next minute... Laugh until cannot Laugh... A must-see show...

for week of 28/04/2003, Monday to 04/05/2003, Sunday
Basically, I forgot most of the things I had done this week, because I had been rushing all day and night to complete my work, (even took leave on monday for that) and didn't sleep much, so quite moody, and gone a bit crazy liao... but bo bian, I had promised to deliver the work on time, and this is the result that I eat snake too much previously while my supervisor is not around, don't be like me hor..

Today, I met my gang , wanting to watch X-men 2 together, however, it's full house at plaza singapura, so we went to suntec to watch, and it's 1st few rows seats.. we bought the tickets and went to Fiesta to have dinner, the food there is very ex, and there's not much quantity, actually I prefered to have cheap and good food lah.... maybe at a foodcourt, but don't mind to have ex food (although it burn a big hole in my pocket), and really don't understand why eat at a restaurant whne there's nothing to celebrate...aiya, never mind lah.. they happy, me ok with it..
The Xmen show is really a must see show, filled with action, imagination, and touching scences... it's really a very good production, It was 11+ when the show end, and I am really damm tired... tomorrow, thursday is labour day (a public holiday), but I still have to work, because my work is not done yet...

Today is my 20th birthday, looking back at my 20 years of life in this world, I had certainly gained and achieved a lot, especially in my poly life, be it in academic, in thinking, in skills and in relationsips.... however, I also lost a lot, I lost a lot of free time to enjoy the life of most poly have, and lost contact with a lot of good old friends... I really wish to heard from them again..
As for the celebration, I reserved today for today for my family, my brother bought pizza hut Classic Italian crust Pizza, we are not eating out because my mother is scared of SARS.... it was a simple celebration, with a slice of cake, 2 pizzas, and some side orders.... my family always make birthday celebration as simple as possible, because my brother and sister are very busy... the pizza is quite good, but is lower than my expectation.....

Today my gang met together to celebrate my birthday, we went to Kuishinbo (at Suntec City tower 4) to have dinner, the food there not bad actually (althought I hate its advertisement at cinemas).. as for pricing, if you choose alacarte buffet, it will cost a lot... but if you order 1 by 1, it's reasonable, I ate a bowl of Ramen and 1 water melon juice, and I am quite full and it cost only $9+ ... afterwhich, we went to starbucks at raffles city to have coffee and a good chat..
One more thing to add on... Thanks A lot to xiang for your My Sassy Girl OST, I know that cost you a lot..
