after work, went to meet xiang and zhenrong for a movie, actually intially is all come out, but in the end, only left with 3 bachelors... don't ask me why.. it's just not my day..



we went to watch "the Core", it was quite an good show, with a blend of sci-fic (science fiction), trailer, touching scences.. the show is about that the Earth's core that drives the electro-magnetic field of Earth, has stopped turning. This leads to Super storms, with many powerful lightnings, birds losing their ability to navigate, and the Earth will eventually lose it's EM (Electro magnetic) field, that shields the Earth from strong UV rays of the Sun, and etc... destroying the Earth, and soon, life on Earth will not be able to survive if the core remains still. So, the scientists began to find solution to solve the problem... and then they began to embark their journey to the core to make the core start turning again... their team includes 2 astronaunts (navigation), 1 weapon specialist (dealing with nuclear weapon to restart the core), 1 national scientist (who calculates the solution), 1 fogotten professor (who builds the ship), 1 college professor (main character, who found out about this fact)... they complete their missions in the end, but with many obstacles and sacrifices, of course...



after movie, we went for dinner at KFC, and started talking about the current SARS situation, and they say Singapore government is not transparent enough, and singapore education system is not flexible, but what I think is that the education before is only for foundation purpose, how you will excel in the industry is all dependent on yourself... and of course there's no conclusion of this debate, everyone has their own views... and although I disagree with anyone, I will still respect their views...
