went for a talk recommend by my brother at tanjong pagar, keppel towers... actually it's a free preview o f a program known as "Patterns of Excellence", which gives you a NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) certification.... don't misunderstand, this is not computer programming, this is an inspiring about programming your brain to lead you to the success of ANYTHING! too good to be true right? the talk was given by Adam Khoo and Stuart Tan of the company, Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group (http://www.akltg.com.sg)... ok, now i share with you some things I heard from him (he talked about a lot of things, i am only able to reproduce a little)
1. first step in suceeding is to have Correct BELIEFS, you MUST believe you CAN succeed
2. which leads you identify your Correct GOALS, and you MUST COMMIT to achieve these goals
3. then come out with Correct STRATEGIES, you can learn from successful people
4. then leads to taking Correct ACTIONS, but you have to control STATE (or emotions) first, and also controlling the factors that contribute to state

went to borders tp continue reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", it's simply a book that got me addicted (you might i'm weird and crazy right?)... head for home after dinner when my friend jio me out for a midnight show... the show was "Homerun", a great local show by Jack Neo, as usual putting political issues betweent the lines of moving stories with some humour... we went for supper at Newton Food Centre after that... and as usual go home (at 4am) when we found there's no place to go

met 1 of my good friend, Da Wei, for lunch at wisma... had a good chat and he go off for work... i went to borders alone, to enrich myself with some books... spent a few hours reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", by Robert Kiyosaki... a very interesting book on financial knowledge, which is just a right book that answer my question i ask my years ago, "Why study so hard when little of these skills apply to the really world?"... I strongly recommend you to read this book if you want to gain financial freedom... anyway, no harm reading right? this is the official website of the book, http://www.richdad.com

receive a leaflet yesterday, saying "Great Shoes Sale at Tion Bahru Plaza"... so I went to tiong bahru plaza to have a look, to look for sandals and slippers (for NS)... but cannot find any I like, too bad lor... but at least i got a copy of a dictionary from Popular, quite expensive ($24), but it comes with a CD-ROM that will definitely help me in pronuciation of english words... great! well.. and of course, i go there alone (again?) since my friends are either not interested or not free...

wake up early in the morning (7.30am is considered very early for a slacker), went to Lakeside for my 2nd bicycle lesson, finally I cold make at least 2 revolutions on the pedal, but that's not good enough, I must at least cycle a distance (my target).... but i had yet to achieve, maybe because of my balancing problem... well, the weather is not very good (raining heavily), so we stopped the lesson and went for lunch....

accompany my mama to Carrefour (at Suntec) in the evening, or should i say night (because we only reach there at 7.45pm, due the dragyness of my mama)... it's so unbelievable that we could shop until they close shop, when we buy only some groceries and a standing fan... and luckily my brother got a car to transport all these things... or we will be taking MRT and it's a toture to me to carry so many canned food and a standing fan and walk a long distance...
after reaching and unloading the stuff, my whole family embark on a journey to a mignight supper at Cheese Prata Shop behind NUS... prata not bad, but the curry not so good... it's so amazing that i still got energy to watch VCDs until 5am...

went to bugis to play a board game, known as "Cashflow 101", created by the author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", Robert T. Kiyosaki... it's a game that teach you how to get out of the "Rat Race" and let Money work for you instead of you working for money... Interesting? a complicated but fun game... especially the counting money part... LOL!...
after that, went to meet my primary school friends for movie and dinner.. took some Neo prints (very expensive leh...) and had a chat on army life and kopi at hawker centre near my home... until past midnight... *yawn*

met a successful person in the evening, introduced by a good firend, chong hwee, to talk about some business opportunity... nonono... it's not another prank or lousy business proposal.. i strongly believe that this business works and will lead to passive income (of 5 digits) every month in the future... (this is how I feel after some thinking, not because of the speaker's excellent talking skills) however, no business will be success without some hardwork lah... including this... (do you want a life time of financial freedom after a few years of hardwork?)... and i also believe that the product they have wil have a huge demand in the future... so what's the business plan and product? sorry, i promise my friend to don't tell anyone... let me know personally if you want to know more...

finally met my NS friends today after a month of their army life... we talked, er... actually is hearing them complaining about army life lah... they always like to complain... (those pessimistic kind of complaining)... why don't look on the bright side of life? well... what can i do but to listen to them? we went to watch terminator 3 after that... erm... typical plot.. bad guy try to kill good guy but good guy survive in the end... only thing good i think is the camera shoots and visual effects lah... better to watch at home then go cinema...

met my 3 months JJC (jurong junior college) OG (orientation group) friends to have lunch at Fish & Co. restaurant at douby ghaut.. jialat.. going to be broke again... but never mind lah... once in awhile... the fod there best man! fresh and tasty.... and not very ex.. but the service "a bit" (i mean very) slow lor.... after that, went to one of our friend's house (at Jurong West, Parc Oasis) to visit him, because he injuried his back in army... looks like quite serious... he got MC for a month... but he like not feeling leh.. stll can eat tidbits an watch TV happily... still can joke... maybe it's because of his optimistic character... he's one of the most optimistic friend I have...
after that, went back to orchard to meet a friend, to accompany him to buy some formal wear for his attachment work starting tomorrow... look like i meeting a lot of guys recently right? don't worry, I am not a gay... walk here walk there whole day... damm tired... then tomorrow still got appointment... alamak...

went out in the evening to meet friends to look for present for 1 of my good friend's birthday... bought a G-shock that cost only $68 (it's value is over $100 at major shops)! you know where we got this lobang? we got it from the Bencoolen building at bugis, near OG building... there are quite afew shops... although there's not a lot of variety, but their price are much cheaper than outside... after buying, we went for some window shopping and coffee, had a good chat together...

finally got all of my FYP group friends to come out, to celebrate my good friend, Chong Hwee's birthday... but we went for a talk first at bugis on some business opportunity recommend by the birthday boy... the talk is quite inspirating, which makes me quite interested... message or email me if u are curious.... the talk lasted quite long. from 7+pm to around 9.30pm...
after which we went for dinner at Ajisen Japanese Restaurant (Bugis Junction), good food, good price, good service... a nice place to eat in... it's 10+pm when we finish dinner.. and you think we going home right? nonono... the night is still young! we went for a drink (i mean drinking alcoholic drinks lah..) by the SIngapore River at the Esplanade.. we chatted for quite a long time... from 11pm to 2am.... from the business CH recommends to our plans for the futture to our childhood times and family... some head for home, and the rest including me went to ji hao's home for mahjong... we played until 5am in the morning and ji hao drove me home..
